Editorial & Content Policy

Last Updated: March 7, 2026

At InbiNews, we are committed to delivering accurate, fair, and transparent news. Our content is governed by the following principles to ensure the highest standards of journalism.

1. Accuracy and Fact-Checking

  • Our primary duty is to the truth. All news reports must be verified by at least two independent sources or official documentation before publication.
  • We clearly distinguish between factual reporting and “Opinion” or “Editorials.”

2. Corrections and Updates

  • We believe in transparency. If an error is found, we will correct it promptly and add a “Correction Note” at the bottom of the article explaining what was changed.
  • For developing stories, we use timestamps to show when the latest information was added.

3. Sources and Attribution

  • We credit all sources of information, including other news outlets, government agencies, and social media platforms.
  • The use of anonymous sources is permitted only when the information is of high public interest and the source’s safety is at risk.

4. Independence and Bias

  • InbiNews is a politically neutral platform. Our reporters must remain objective and avoid any conflict of interest.
  • We do not accept payment or gifts in exchange for favorable news coverage. Any “Sponsored Content” will be clearly labeled.

5. Sensitive Content & Harassment

  • We do not publish content that incites violence, promotes hate speech, or discriminates based on race, religion, gender, or nationality.
  • We respect the privacy of individuals, especially victims of crime and children, and will not publish identifying details unless it is legally required or in the public interest.

6. Originality and Plagiarism

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All articles on InbiNews must be original or properly licensed. Unauthorized copying of text or images from other websites will result in immediate removal of the content.

7. User-Generated Content (Comments)

  • While we encourage healthy debate, we reserve the right to remove comments that are abusive, spammy, or defamatory.
